The purpose of the MTSD Orchestra Parents is to enrich, enhance and support the music education experience for all orchestra students (over 450) within the Mequon-Thiensville School District.
There are no membership dues for MTSD Orchestra Parents, Inc. Instead, we invite parents, community organizations and friends of the orchestra program to contribute to our nonprofit organization.

Our 2025-2026 donation drive is in full swing! Your gracious contributions continue to develop the 4-12 grade Orchestra programs in Mequon-Thiensville into one of the finest in the state of Wisconsin and a great source of pride for our entire community.
All donations are recognized in MTSD Orchestra concert programs throughout the year
and will be listed on this website.

Funds are used to enhance the orchestra experience for all children in the district by providing coaching and mentoring from instrument specialists, maintaining and purchasing school instruments, support participation in WSMA Solo and Ensemble Festivals, and offsetting travel costs of our regular international performance tours and local music learning experiences. Last year, generous donations have specifically funded:
Over 200 hours of Professional Coaching in small groups at every level
Professional Instruction on solos for students who do not study privately
Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra concert trips (Middle School & High School)
Partially funded 6th grade field trip to Beyond the Notes in Wisconsin Dells.
